Concept

As a tech enthusiast and a consumer, I've often found review websites to push out reviews that were only useful to people who understood technology and could re-interpret the information for themselves. The testing and conclusions were completely valid, but often unhelpful for most consumers and inconsistent across reviews of different products.

I aimed to fix this by putting my few years of design experience to the test and creating an infographic with a time-tested and future-proof explanation of how to buy a laptop. Here it is.

Media players are going out of fashion. Recently we saw Microsoft kill off Windows Media Center for Windows 10 because of a total lack of users. This project aims to take the idea of a Media Center and revitalize it for the information age.

Concept

The idea behind Windows 10 Google was to take the best of Google and merge it with the best of Microsoft in a huge operating system concept; take the ideas of power and functionality from Microsoft and put them with the ideas of approachability and ease of use from Google.

When Windows 10 came out, I was really not a fan of the ui. It was a hybrid between aero and metro, not either or both. I hated it. So I went to the drawing board and mocked up my ideal Windows ui, complete with solid colors, live tiles, and more.
